About Dr. Sterman

Harris R. Sterman M.D. is one of New Jersey's leading Board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He is known for his natural approach to cosmetic surgeries, best–in–class bedside manner, and expert work, with over 25 years of experience. Dr. Sterman's private practice is based in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Dr. Sterman received his M.D. from Downstate College of Medicine in 1985. He began his residency training for general surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and was selected as Chief Resident in 1990. He went on to become a Plastic Surgery Resident at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.

In addition to operating his private practice, Dr. Sterman currently serves as the Director of Plastic Surgery at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Dr. Sterman is Board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

He has been featured numerous times in New Jersey Monthly's Jersey Choice Top Doctors and Bergen Magazine's Bergen County Top Doctors, including the most recent lists in 2020.
