Some of the facial surgery procedures Dr. Sterman offers are:
In time, gravity, sun exposure, genetics and the stresses of daily life can take their toll on our faces: deep creases appear beside the mouth, the jaw line slackens, folds and fat deposits appear on the neck, and we lose volume from our cheeks. A facelift or rhytidectomy is a procedure that can counteract these problems by removing excess, loose skin and fat as well as tighten sagging skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, youthful look.
Facelifts have evolved and improved over the last 40 years. There are several different types of facelifts, such as the skin-only facelift and the SMAS facelift, which tightens the structures under the skin. Incisions are made in inconspicuous places such as inside or along the hairline and in natural folds of the cheeks and ears. Over time, the scars can fade to near invisibility. More recently, less invasive facelifts such as the short-scar facelifts have been devised and combined with neck suspension techniques to minimize both the visibility and size and length of scars. After surgery, some patients can look much younger. Facelift surgery will not stop the clock and keep you from aging, but it can reset the clock and make you look younger and fresher and feel better about yourself.

In addition to making one's face sag, aging can make the brow (forehead) droop or look heavy. This can make you look tired, angry or sad. A browlift can help to revitalize drooping or lined foreheads. By repositioning the brow, a browlift can make you look younger, more awake and alert and happier. Browlifts can be performed via the traditional or the minimally invasive endoscopic approach. In this procedure, the muscles of the forehead and between the eyebrows can be also treated to "open the brow up" and relax and decrease the frown lines and wrinkles of the forehead. The procedure can often be combined with other operations such as blepharoplasty and facelift to freshen up the overall appearance of the face.

Blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift surgery, can rejuvenate puffy, sagging or tired-looking eyes by removing excess fat, skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. It may be performed for cosmetic reasons or to improve sight by lifting droopy eyelids out of the patient's field of vision. The procedure is usually performed in an office with sedation (or in certain cases, local anesthesia) in as little as 45 minutes. Blepharoplasty can be combined with a facelift, browlift or BOTOX® treatments to raise the eyebrows or reduce the appearance of wrinkles, crow's feet or dark circles under the eyes.

Rhinoplasty or "nose job" is one of the most commonly performed plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing.
Whereas years ago, rhinoplasty was performed almost only on patients with large humps or deformities, both cosmetic and reconstructive rhinoplasty have evolved. Rhinoplasty can now be performed for patients who are unhappy with part of their nose, such as the tip, via the "open rhinoplasty" technique. Rhinoplasty has become a better, although more technically demanding, procedure since newer and better techniques have been developed to allow for more finesse and more natural-looking results. It is usually an outpatient procedure performed under either sedation or general anesthesia.

With aging, the cheeks and midface begin to sag. The face loses volume, and the lower eyelids can appear to bulge. A midface lift is designed to reposition the cheeks and fill out the central part of the face below the eyelids, making the face look more youthful.
Another method to correct lost volume is by using cheek implants. Cheek implants are synthetic devices that are placed beneath the skin, fat and muscle of the cheeks to help fill out them out, lift sagging skin and correct hollowness of the face.
